We are on a mission to reset the healthy and sustainable environment by facilitating the restoration of degraded natural ecosystems like Ponds and Urban forests. In this herculean task of preserving life-sustaining processes on planet earth we would certainly need many more hands to join the movement so let us spread the word everywhere. Together we can become warriors of change! So, lets come together and herald an era of transformation and giving back to Mother Earth. Welcome to the tribe.
Say Earth is a team of Environmentally conscious youth who have embarked on a journey of transformation. United by a strong desire to check the rapid change of a liveable natural landscape to one dominated by concrete, we seek to reverse the trend and create spaces where both natural and man-made ecosystems can co-exist harmoniously. Led by young Environmentalist, Mr. Ramveer Tanwar, and inspired by the principles of Sustainability and Co-existence, the team is striving hard to implement local solutions to environmental and social problems created by human deeds that is becoming a threat to the continuation of life on the planet!
In the quest to restore natural ecosystems that bear the brunt of human development,
to date, we have restored more than 60 ponds to their former glory and created 4 urban forests.
The saga began in quite an unconventional manner. In 2014, moved by the plight of his village pond, Ramveer Tanwar ji embarked on a journey of restoration of the rural aquatic ecosystems in the vicinity of his village in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. In this endeavor, he was supported by volunteers, community members, and his friends who were passionate about the cause of the deterioration of water bodies. Pooling resources and doing tasks ranging from manually cleaning of ponds to planting tree saplings, these people were doing it all together in a mission mode. As the word spread, these small conservation acts transformed into a movement. At this juncture, it was decided to streamline the process and give a formal structure to this movement and Say Earth was born in 2020. Since then, the organization has come a long way in the field of conservation of natural ecosystems and has been able to restore more than 80 waterbodies and plant 6 forests, especially in the urban landscape.
Say Earth’s ideology is rooted deeply and is guided by its Aim, Mission, & Vision which are at the essence of our work and act as a beacon of light for all endeavours of the organization.
Our mission is to restore natural ecosystems as sustainable solutions for larger environmental problems, simultaneously empowering & sensitizing stakeholder communities for their future conservation & maintenance.
Say Earth’s vision is of a world with healthy ecosystems and empowered communities co-existing in a harmonious relationship with each other while sustainably providing for each other.
